Welcome to Breakers Labs De Jong 12U
This site is the home base for everything related to our 2026–2027 season: what we expect from players and parents, what we’re working on as a team each month, and where practice plans and team finances live so everyone can stay on the same page.
📌 Heads Up
- Join Skool (Breakers Standards). This is where the org posts detailed training videos, practice formats, and throwing progressions for what we’re working on this season. Join here.
- PGF team insurance & registration — coming in September. It’s required to play PGF-sanctioned tournaments and helps us secure practice fields from the cities that rent them to the org. See Finance for the cost breakdown.
- PGF player registration — after that. Once our team is active in PGF’s system, each family will get an invite to register their player directly with PGF (paid on your own — see Finance for the estimated cost). You’ll need a headshot photo and a digital copy of her birth certificate. Do this on a laptop, not a phone — PGF’s site has known upload issues on mobile.
- 5 Tool Hitting Center membership sign-up has changed. Already had a 5 Tool membership? Just email info@5toolhittingcenter.com with your name and team name. Starting fresh? Sign up on your mobile device via the 5 Tool Membership page, then get verified by the front desk (in person or by email) once you’re done.

- Practice Plans, archived by month, aligned to that focus
- Homework — assignments from Coach Mike and Coach Haylee, posted frequently. Check back often.
- The Season Schedule — now with a Calendar View toggle alongside the list, so you can see everything for a given month at a glance
- Finance (dues and team expenses) — each month is labeled Final once it’s safe to pay, or Draft if it may still change; payment goes via Venmo to @breakers5t
A couple of other things worth knowing:
- Monthly dues include a 5 Tool Hitting Center Gold membership for your player — 24-hour advance booking and a half-hour of tunnel time daily (a $69 value on its own). See 5 Tool Membership for how to set yours up.
- We use TeamSnap for team communication and event RSVPs (please RSVP for every event) and GameChanger for live scoring and stats during games.
- We’re looking for parent volunteers — including someone to manage our Instagram and other social media content. See Parent Volunteers for the current list of open roles, and reach out to Coach Haylee or Coach Mike if you’re interested.
