What the monthly cost covers

Each family’s monthly cost is made up of two pieces:

• Dues ($110/player/month) — includes a 5 Tool Hitting Center Gold membership for your player, a great benefit on its own ($69 value): 24-hour advance booking and a half-hour of tunnel time every day.
• A share of the $225/month org membership fee, split across the roster. This fee is what connects our team to the organization — it covers the 5Tool hitting facility, org practices, and the org’s behind-the-scenes costs (accounting, compliance, insurance support, and the coaching support that comes with being a Breakers team).

One-time costs at season start (August)

• Startup Fee — $250/player. Unlike monthly dues, every player pays this regardless of roster size. It covers each player’s gear (3 Breakers visors, 2 practice jerseys) and the org’s season buildout costs.

One-time costs in September

• PGF Insurance — $570 total, split across the roster (~$44/player at a 13-player roster): a $95 base fee, a $345 insurance fee, and a $65 coach base fee for each of our 2 coaches ($130).
• TeamSnap Upgrade — $175 total, split across the roster (~$14/player at a 13-player roster). Covers the full 2026–2027 season and unlocks RSVP tracking for events.

Other costs to plan for (not billed by the team)

These vary by tournament/season and aren’t fixed monthly charges, so they’re not itemized above

• Any extra practice time booked outside our regular facility/org hours
• Travel: gas, lodging, meals, and other day-to-day costs around tournaments

Required purchases (families buy on their own)

• PGF Player Registration — $65/player. Once PGF Insurance is purchased and our team is created in the PGF system, each family will get an invite to register their player directly with PGF. This is paid by each family on their own, not collected by the team. You’ll need a headshot photo and a digital copy of your player’s birth certificate. Do this on a laptop, not a phone. PGF’s site has known upload issues on mobile.
