Defensive Training Equipment
Each player will be required to have:
- One small Valle training glove
- One Valle training paddle
We will use this equipment at every practice, including drills with live throws and batted balls. For safety, each item must be properly padded and of good quality.
Coach Haylee has used Valle training gloves for years and cannot speak highly enough about their quality and durability. We invest in top-of-the-line bats for our players, and we believe we should make the same investment in their defensive development.
If your player already has a small glove or paddle, please send a picture or speak with Coach Haylee before purchasing anything. She may approve an exception.
Discounted pricing
- K47 Small Infield Glove — $120 (regularly $149)
- Basic Valle Glove Paddle — $50 (regularly $65)
- Halo Paddle — $75 (regularly $90). This paddle has a hole in the middle and is an optional alternative to the basic paddle — it provides instant feedback for the player. Highly recommended, but up to each family.
If purchasing this equipment creates a financial hardship, please contact Coach Haylee privately. She has extras available in the short term and will work with your family. Players will eventually need their own equipment because we use it at every practice.
How to order
Order via the order form and pay via Venmo @CoachHaylee.
Order and payment due: Friday, August 14th. If you don’t place your order and pay by the 14th without communicating with Coach Haylee first, you’ll need to order off the Valle site at full price instead.
