September 10, 2026 · Mike
Practice Length: 1 hour
Primary Focus: Hinge — get your body in a strong position so your hands and bat can work with you. Hide the belt, body back, chest over, head over home. Get the barrel behind the ball and stay through the pitch.
Equipment: Tees, balls, bunting bats, Hack Attack + Hack Attack Jr. (inferred from the stations — the source graphic had no equipment row)
| Start | End | Min | Activity | Organization / Setup | Key Coaching Points | Coach Notes |
|---|
| 5PM | 5:15PM | 15 | Tee Warm-Up | Hover drill for 10 reps. 10 middle pitches, top of the zone. | Control your move forward. Stay hinged and keep your hands back. Look at an imaginary pitcher, then move your eyes to the ball. | |
| 5:15PM | 5:23PM | 8 | Hack Attack — Inside Pitch | | Hit the ball up the middle. Don't just pull it because it's inside. 7 swings then rotate. | |
| 5:23PM | 5:31PM | 8 | Hack Attack — Curveball | | Chest over — hold your posture. Don't spin off or pull your body to the side. 7 swings then rotate. | |
| 5:31PM | 5:39PM | 8 | 2-Strike Adjustment | Round 1: no stride. Round 2: choke up. Round 3: choose what works best for YOU. | Find a 2-strike move you can repeat under pressure — shorter, quicker, still on time. | |
| 5:39PM | 5:47PM | 8 | Hover Drill + Front Toss | | Control your move forward. Hands stay back while the body moves forward. Be on time and stay through the ball. | |
| 5:47PM | 5:55PM | 8 | Bunting | Round 1: bunting bat. Round 2: sac bunt. Round 3: bunt for a hit. | Eyes behind the barrel. Start at the TOP of the strike zone. | |
